Details: The Riyadh Residence is a new-build family home, within the suburbs of the expanding capital city of Saudi Arabia. A contemporary courtyard house that was specially designed to provide a family home in Saudi’s harsh climate. The building has a careful mixture of traditional and modern materials, with an environmental approach using automated solar panels. The central courtyard garden provides an external space that is sheltered and cooler, whilst maintaining an open plan ground floor.
